United States
of America
What's
NEXT?
Is
the end near?
The United States of America, a nation founded "under God," has turned its back on God and is living in accordance with man's wisdom, which will only lead to sure ruin. This can be clearly seen in the last few decades in which society has deteriorated rapidly since the Bible was removed from our public schools. Immoral leaders and public figures, hideous crimes, child molestation, pornography, rape, and immoral relationships, are common place in our "advanced society."
With the nation becoming
more pagan, as evident not only by its turning away from God but by its turning
to the New Age Movement and the occult world, it has become increasing anti-Christian.
Christians, particularly those labeled as "fundamentalists," or "born
again," are viewed as old fashioned and bigoted, as evident by their
views, for example, on abortion and homosexuality. More and more people in our
society wish that Christians would
just go away.
The truth is, that is exactly what is going to happen! The next great event to take place in God's prophetic time table is the rapture of the church from off the earth. The word "rapture" means "to snatch with force." Christ promised to return and take all believers in Him to be with Himself. (John 14:1-3) When Christ returns at an unannounced time, those who have trusted Him as their personal Savior will rise to meet Him in the air. (1 Thess. 4:13-18)
When all true believers in Jesus Christ are snatched out of this world, it may well mean the end of the United States of America, as we know it. Christian doctors, nurses, engineers, teachers, truck drivers, pilots, clerks, computer programmers, military personnel, etc., will instantly vanish. Millions of consumers will also be taken. Operation of it many medical facilities, manufacturing plants, transportation and communication systems, and many other services will come to a slow grind. The nation will be in chaos and greatly weakened, both economically and militarily.
The Bible says that the period which follows the rapture will be more horrible than the world has ever known. A false Christ will arise and at first appear to bring peace to the world, and in particular, to Israel; however, he will demand allegiance and the world will see wars, and natural disasters unlike any before. This period is known as the Tribulation. The Bible also says that any who rejected a clear explanation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ before the rapture will be sent a strong delusion and they will believe a lie to their own damnation. (2 Thess. 2:11)
The Bible gives us a description of the last days before Jesus Christ returns to take the Church off the earth. As we read it and observe the world around us, it certainly appears that His return is near.
If the rapture took place today, would you leave this world, or be left behind to enter into the horrible Tribulation? Would you go to heaven to be with Christ, or would you die in your sins and face Him later as your judge?
Why not read the Bible and see how you can know your sins forgiven and have a right relationship with God? Why not be sure that when Christ returns you too will be raptured from this world? We would suggest that you start by reading the Gospel of John.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life: and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." John3:36
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." Ephesians2:8-9
