Dear Brothers in Christ,

    Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! We the elders of the Assembly gathered to the Lord in San Ramon, California, known as the San Ramon Valley Bible Church, wish to make known to you that we commend to the service of our Lord Jesus Christ and the grace of God, our dear brother and sister Carl and Ruth Knott, who are currently serving in Seville, Spain, and wherever the Lord may lead them.

    Brother Carl is well known to us, and has been such a tremendous blessing to all the members of our assembly over the last several years. He has ministered the Word with power and conviction and brought great encouragement to us. He has also preached the gospel in our midst and souls have been saved, baptized, and added to the fellowship. He is a likeminded brother who has our confidence, and has shown to be a man of integrity, honor and humility in word and deed. Carl is greatly esteemed by all in this assembly.

    We consider Carl and Ruth and their family as members of our fellowship. We consider supporting missionaries at home and abroad as not only a sacred privilege, but a great responsibility as well. We do not undertake this lightly, but prayerfully and carefully. Receive them in the Lord in a manner worthy of saints, and assist them, for they have been helpers of many “(Romans 16:2).
